From mid-July, when Kristah took her first points until she finished
5 weeks later, she won at EVERY show!

Kristah achieved a Major Breed over specials, then finished (BEB-1/WB/BOW/BOS) with
a 5 point Major at the Twin Cities Afghan Hound Club and BOS over 5 bitch Specials,
under respected breed judge, Mr. Russell McFadden.

Kristah’s first weekend out as a Special, she took a Group 4 under Dr. Edna Martin,
then grabbed a large Breed over BIS specials and was held for the final cut in a large Group.
She took a recent Group 4 under Mr. Jon Cole, and the next day was again in the final Group cut.

As esteemed breeder-judge Carol Reisman noted, “If there were 10 bitches in
the ring with Kristah, 9 would look similar and Kristah would be the outlier.”
Why? Ms. Reisman explained, because Kristah has a proper croup angle and
tail set. She sports a low hock, correct size, is well set under, has a great
topline, and has balanced movement.

What does that say for the state of the Breed?
