Ch. Tajmir Wind Beneath My Wings

"Gidget" is known for her powerful, springy open sidegait, intense
breed type with solid body and wonderful Topline. Most of all she is
our sweet loving house girl who owns us. We thank Pat Stephenson
for letting us buy- The girl who was not for sale!
Robert & I would like to thank the judges for her Championship.

After a world wide search looking for just the right bitch to start
over with since we lost all ties to our Ch. Stormhill Silver Kane
ex our Ch. Delor's Gremlin of Asmar litter, we felt since I started
with Mecca in the early 70's- we should go back to the person who
started Mecca & DicMar off with their stock. This person was
Pat Stephenson of Tajmir. I like working with old pedigree's so we got
Gidget from Pat who has been breeding since 1956. So when picking a
stud for Gidget we chose the handsome Isfahan Glimmer Man owned by
Frank & Robin Vasquez of Isfahan- breeding since 1959. Not loving
everything in the ring today we wanted to breed on the old dogs of
greatness, but most of all we are breeding for Health of the Afghan
Hound. Good health- Good Hips- Good Eyes-Good Temperament are
our number one mission. Gidget would like to present her sons to the
fancy. They were Christmas Babies!
