Brandon was our first "show dog".  He was "Arnold's" first born
and a Taco grandson. He had been in three homes prior to coming
to us.  As a pup, he was high energy and other "show homes" decided
not to deal with him.  He was too disruptive. We tried the show routine
with him for a couple of years; even had him with a handler for 6 months,
but his heart was not in the show ring. Then one day we braved lure
coursing. It was truly his bag, but if the lure stopped for any reason, he
would go find something else to do. Brandon was also what I called our
"fun Nazi", if any group of dogs was outside running & playing, he
would break it up.  Brandon had an incredible long silky coat, we were
often told that his coat was what the standard was written for.  He
faded fast the last 9 months, he was loved to the end.
