 The untier of shoe laces par excellence - our “little girl” gamboled and raced
and wrestled with energy and cleverness.  Her dam grew a couple of extra silver
hairs on her ears trying to discipline this sassy child. . . . Now she has grown into
a beauty whose public gravity belies her youth.  This black stunner portrays an
austere serenity and is undeniably Queen of her world.  But in private, the 
madcap minx shows her true colors to her close friends and family.

  With a gait that never puts a foot wrong and shows the meaning of the word
“balanced”,  Chica moves through her performances–conformation, coursing,
obedience–with equal ease and elegance.  Her eyes see deep into the breed’s
past but never miss a thing in the present.  A coat of utter silken perfection
graces her form.  No resident of the harem could wish a finer garb. She
is Sevi’s sister/twin in looks and keenness of mind.

 The folks at L’Rhel held her a long time, the decision to let her go tempered
by the knowledge of the fine home she’d have at Witchwood and later at Suni 
being all that let her leave.  While at Witchwood, she was introduced to showing,
was indulged in her clever antics, and learned the fine art of stalking, coursing
and catching rabbits in the Hi-Desert. Her acrobatic skills led her to become
a roof runner . . . from the ground level garage roof to the highest peak to survey
her empire for the unwary cottontail or jackrabbit.  Chica is an enthusiastic
courser, and quickly obtained her JC and SC titles.  She has also accumulated
one BOB win, and four points towards her AKC F.Ch. title.

 Although Chica moved to Texas only a year ago and started a serious show 
career, she has certainly made up for any lost time!  She has rapidly captured 
championship titles in two systems and is well on her way in a third.  In the UKC 
system, she has two BIS wins and is ranked #3 Afghan in the nation for 2006 - 
right behind brother Sevion! Under the IABCA system Chica completed her
International title with all top honors, and is in the final stages of completing
her AKC title, having earned 10 points to date.

Chica completed her UKC Grand Champion title 1/21/06.
 

 Keenly intelligent, Chica took to obedience like the proverbial duck to water!!
She prepared for her CGC test in only one week - and passed with flying colors!!
She is currently in training for her Obedience and Agility titles.

 A litter strongly re-enforcing the old Grandeur lines in her pedigree is
planned for Chica in the upcoming year.  Inquiries invited.
