I would like to thank Donna Johnson
of Tanis Kennels for allowing me the
privilege of owning Violet better
known as the Long Island Lolita. She may be
tiny but pound for pound she has
more energy and gives more love than most
dogs twice her size. Violet lives
with Max a beautiful male I acquired from
Lucia Brown of Dragonfly Kennel.
Max is a gentle giant going on 11 years he has
a gentle temperament and watches
out for his entire pack. The Grand Dam of
the pack is Colette a soon to be
14 year old black masked red who is as easy going,
smart and sweet as they come. Colette
came from Kelly Fitch of Ledgehill kennel.
I would like to thank these three
Ladies for setting the standard for responsible
breeding. All to often you hear
too many negative things about breeders.
I for one would like to recognize
the hard work and dedication that goes into
responsible breeding. I have seen
how important it is to these breeders that their
dogs be placed in proper loving
homes. And I am thankful that they consider me
to be one of them. I know many
afghans make great show dogs. I enjoy them
as great companions and wonderful
pets.
